Members of Norse Nightmare are expected to show honor and respect towards others at all times, and to put the needs of the clan and other members before themselves. Norse Nightmare members are typically students and working adults who enjoy gaming at a casual, yet consistent pace. With that in mind, if you prefer to clan hop or aren’t looking for a long term home, Norse Nightmare is not the clan for you. People are more important than pixels.
We are not an “elitist” clan nor require our members to advance themselves with financial means. We understand that different playstyles and past decisions affect us all differently. Many/most of our leadership has had a rushed based or knows what its like to work your way from a 2 star war attacker to a 3 star one.
Honor, Respect, and by extension; Integrity, Morals, Ethics and Honesty are the center of our structure. We work to advance the clan as a whole, for the sum of the parts is always stronger.
Norse Nightmare seeks to build a strong membership base within the game we play. Accordingly, like most established clans, “Advancement” is earned. We operate on a consensus model. Most all of our elders have been in the clan at least 6 months. Typically elder status is earned once its apparent both sides, us and you, want to develop together – typically 2 weeks or a month. Many have been in the clan for 12 months or more.
We believe that membership is a two way street. New recruits must take a look at our policies and processes to determine if this clan is right for them, and in turn, we need to find out if they are a good fit in our ranks. Being a Norse Nightmare member requires basic human decency and maturity. We don’t have set donation ratio rules, just do what is right and help where you can.

Requirements to Join
We are looking for players who wish to join our swelling ranks and stand shoulder to shoulder with us on the battlefield during Clan Wars. Admittedly, we have a sliding scale of requirements so that the requirements for joining at a lower TH level (7-8) are distinctly different than higher (9-10). In our experience, High Quality, High Level THs already are in an established clan. Accordingly, our recruiting strategies is focused on building from within. That said, if you are a High level TH looking for a new or permanent home, we will always consider you.
We are looking for members who have the right Knowledge, Skill, and Attitude to join.
We encourage members new to the game to apply. We have the knowledge and skill to develop your attacking style and help you progress though the game with a mindset towards war. Many of our most active members came to Norse Nightmare as low level players and have developed into war beasts. Are you next?
All TH levels
Activity: High (as evidenced by frequent attacks and an active base)
Age: 18 years+ or equivalent maturity level
Willingness to participate in chat
Willingness to strengthen your base through farming
Consistent War Participation
New members are required to share replays prior to war to demonstrate basic skill level and ability to follow suggestions
TH 7
If you demonstrate activity and a willingness to be part of the team, we are looking for you
TH 7 is the sweetspot for truly moving through to endgame. We love adding members at this level because they get the benefit of high-end end game wars and learning from them. Base development, offensive strategies. We can Teach, and forming good, knowledgeable warring is easier to teach from the start than playing “catchup”.
TH 8
We are looking for either New TH8s with high activity or established TH8’s working towards max.
Min lvl 7 (purple) walls…or working towards them.
A willingness or demonstrable skill with Hogs and Dragons (main 3 star armies at TH8).
TH 9
Combined Hero level of 20
At least Lvl 8 (Skull) Walls
Offensive Profile which demonstrate 3 star army possibilities (hogs, laloon, shattered, cold-blooded, any or all of the above)
Proficiency of GoWiWi (for 2 star when heroes are down)
Ability to at least 2 star Max TH9s
Ability to 3 star Every TH8.
TH10
Combined Hero Lvl of 40
Regular 2* of Mid-Max TH10s
Ability to share knowledge with lower TH levels.
Advanced knowledge of multiple armies and distinction of advisable strategies for TH 7 – 10

Be Patient: We have players around the world in various time zones. Typically we will get to your response within 10-20 minutes. - If you have been accepted, please be sure to introduce yourself and visit the clan website for an overview of the clan.
- Share a few replays of war-type armies to show us your stuff. The win or loss is not important, we are merely trying 1. to gauge the level of understanding of army composition and deployment (don’t worry we can teach it) and 2. make sure you are a going to get your attacks in before we drop you in the war map.
